A polarizing plate manufacturing method, a polarizing plate manufactured by the method, and an image display device using the same are provided to restrict the decrease of optical property by preventing a polarizer from being directly exposed to heat during a drying process. A polarizing plate manufacturing method is composed of steps for disposing a polarizer between a transparent protection film and a temporary adhesive protection film capable of being peeled off; laminating the transparent protection film and the polarizer by a water-based adhesive agent and drying the laminated protection film and polarizer; and removing the temporary adhesive protection film and applying an adhesive agent. The polarizer is a PVA(Polyvinyl Alcohol) polarizing film containing iodine compounds or dichromatic polarizing materials and having a molecular chain oriented in a predetermined direction.
