DMB MOBILE COMMUNICATION TERMINAL, DMB SYSTEM AND METHOD HAVING ADVERTISEMENT FUNCTION

A DMB mobile terminal and a DMB system/method having an AD function are provided to perform simple AD by storing an AD file downloaded from an AD server through the DMB or mobile network, and operating the AD file with a mobile program of the terminal when detecting a intensity of a signal is weak or a screen is interrupted. A database(210) downloads and stores the AD files. The mobile program(220) operates the AD file stored in the database. An output part(230) selectively outputs DMB received through the DMB network and the AD file operated by the mobile program. A sensor(240) detects the intensity of at least one of a DMB signal and a gap filler signal while the DMB is output. A controller(250) controls operation of the mobile program or the output part depending on a detection result of the sensor. A memory(260) stores a reference intensity value of the DMB and gap filler signal. If at least one of the DMB and gap filler signal is smaller than the reference intensity value, the controller enables the output part to output the AD file by operating the mobile program.
