A display substrate is provided to prevent the corrosion of a data pad, by inserting a gate metal pattern in the data pad so that a passivation layer and a gate insulating layer are simultaneously etched during a forming process of the data pad. A display substrate comprises gate lines, data lines crossing the gate lines, pixel parts defined by the gate lines and the data lines and having pixel electrodes, and data pads formed at end portions of the data lines. Each of the data pads includes a gate metal pattern(120b), a data end portion pattern(150b), and a data pad pattern(174). The gate metal pattern is formed on a base substrate, and disposed in the same layer as the gate lines. The data end portion pattern is formed on the gate metal pattern. The data pad pattern is formed in the same layer as the pixel electrodes, and electrically connected to the data end portion pattern. |
