LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY AND MANUFACTURING METHOD OF THE SAME

An LCD and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to prevent a polarizing plate from being shrunk at a high temperature, thereby suppressing the generation of display stains, by forming an adhesive layer having a rigidity corresponding to the shrinkage of the polarizing plate between the polarizing plate and an LCD panel. An LCD panel forms an image. A polarizing plate(500) is attached onto the LCD panel. An adhesive layer(600) is disposed between the LCD panel and the polarizing plate. The adhesive layer contains a polymerization initiator, and at least one of polymerized acryl-based resin and epoxy-based resin. The adhesive layer is polymerized by heat or UV. The adhesive layer has a thickness of 10-100 um. An adhesive force between the LCD panel and the adhesive layer ranges from 1000gf/25mm^2 to 1500gf/25mm^2.
