A remote controller having a function of storing a broadcasting signal, and a system and a method for storing a broadcasting signal by using the remote controller are provided to store a broadcasting signal received through a digital broadcasting receiver in a remote controller. A remote controller(200) includes a key input unit(240), a control signal transmitter(220), a broadcasting signal receiver(210), a storage unit(230), and a controller(250). The key input unit has a functional key used to request the remote controller to store a broadcasting signal. The control signal transmitter transmits a broadcasting signal storage request signal to a digital broadcasting receiver(100). The broadcasting signal receiver receives a broadcasting signal transmitted from the digital broadcasting receiver. The storage unit stores the broadcasting signal. The controller controls the operations of the control signal transmitter and the storage unit.
