摘要 A method for designing custom-made clothes by pattern deployment from a 3D curved surface to 2D plane is provided to implement 2D planar data fully reflecting 3D curved surface information by performing triangle simplification on the 3D curved surface with a set of the minimum number of points among the measured 3D curved surface data, and mapping or deploying simplified data on the 2D plane based on the Runge-Kutta method. 3D point data is obtained from a plurality of positions of a human body. A part of the curved surface of the human body is approximated by the triangle simplification using the 3D point data. Each simplified piece is deployed on the 2D plane in a free fall mode. A 2D pattern is combined by attaching the deployed pieces with each other. The triangle simplification adjusts the number of 3D points to be used according to curvature of the curved surface.
