A photographing apparatus, a photographing method, a reproduction apparatus, a reproduction method and a program are provided to allow a user to clearly take an image while confirming a taken image by enabling an user to easily see a displayed image. A photographing apparatus takes the first image as an image of an object. The photographing apparatus includes a detection unit(51) for detecting an instruction of a function caused by operation of a user, a determination unit(52) for determining whether photographing for the first image is instructed on a basis of the detected instruction, and a display control unit(53) for controlling a displaying operation so that the third image among the second images is not overlapped with the first image, wherein the second images allow a user to instruct operations of various functions and the third image allows the user to instruct an operation of a function not operable during a photographing operation.
