A hermetic type compressor is provided to efficiently prevent a connection member from being separated from a suction muffler by forming a connection member fixed to or in one body with the suction muffler. A hermetic type compressor comprises a first body(60), a second body(70), a resonance space(50a), a guide pipe(61), an insertion pipe unit(71), and a coil spring(80). The first body is connected to a compressing chamber. The second body is connected to a suction pipe(11). The first body and the second body are coupled to each other and form the resonance space. The guide pipe is formed in one body with the first body. The second body has an insertion pipe unit which forms an inlet(71a) of a suction muffler(50). The coil spring is installed between the insertion pipe unit and the suction pipe for directly guiding a refrigerant from the suction pipe into the resonance space.
