A reamer comprises a body 12 having a splined bore 14, in which a splined cutter holder 15, 16 floats, and a blade 17 clamped between parts 15, 16, by a spring 25. Part 16, along with blade 17, is radially adjustable relative to part 15 by a screw 24, and a plate 19 provides guides 20, 21 for engaging the hole to be reamed. Parts 15, 16 are rotatably connected to plate 19 by a clip 22, and an adjustable stop 26 is provided for limiting the radial movements of assembly 15-17.
