An overload protector having an improved explosion prevention structure is provided to block an inner arc from an external inflammable material by sealing a plurality of openings of a base with epoxy resin. An overload protector having an improved explosion prevention structure includes barriers(12i,12j), first and second alignment columns(12d,12e), bores, and first and second disk maintaining pins(12g). The barrier(12i) having a predetermined height is formed at a corner of a side wall(12b) in a cover. The barrier(12j) has the predetermined height in a direction coupled to a base. The first and second alignment columns(12d,12e) are vertically extended from each groove closed wall, and are received in each bore corresponding to the base. The first and second disk maintaining pins(12g) are arranged in opposite locations to be aligned with an outer peripheral surface of a disk sheet.
