A lane definition warning system for a vehicle is provided to generate a lane definition warning according to whether an indicator light is operated or not, so that a user don't have to directly connect a signal cable of the indicator light to LDWS(Lane Definition Warning System). Indicator light noise detecting sensors(60,60') detect operation noise generated from left and right indicator lights(50,50'). A band pass filter(40) filters a specific frequency band of each indicator light detected by the sensors. A micom(10) is input with information on speed from a global positioning system(30), and compares the information filtered by the band pass filter with lane definition information input from a lane definition warning system(20) to operate the lane definition warning system according to the operation of the lamps.
