A reference voltage selection circuit and a reference voltage generation circuit using the same are provided to generate a stable reference voltage with small variation period width even when the level of an external voltage is lower than a fixed voltage level. In a reference voltage selection circuit receiving a plurality of first reference voltages and a plurality of selection control signals and outputting a second reference voltage by selecting one of the first reference voltages in response to the selection control signal, a pull-down part performs pull-down driving of an output stage of a reference voltage selection circuit in response to an enable signal. An external voltage detection part(310) outputs a detection signal by detecting an external voltage level. A subsidiary pull-down part compensates pull-down driving capability on the output stage in response to the detection signal.
