A BREW(Binary Runtime Environment for Wireless) contents license service method, a system, and a mobile communication terminal are provided to enable a user to purchase and store license employed for using contents and downloading a BREW application program from a BREW server by using a terminal equipped with a BREW function, while sending the license to the other party's terminal using the same BREW application program. A mobile communication terminal purchases and stores license for using contents of a BREW application program(S300-S340). The terminal decides whether to send the license to the other party's terminal(S350). If so, the terminal decides whether the other party's terminal is equipped with the same application program as the BREW application program(S360). If so, the terminal transmits the license to the other party's terminal(S370).
