A superconducting cable core having superconducting wires coated with magnetic shielding paint and a superconducting cable including the same are provided to reduce the cost of a superconducting cable system by reducing the design capacity of a cooling system through the reduction of a cooling load. A superconducting cable core(100) including superconducting wires coated with magnetic shielding paint includes a former(110), a superconductive layer(120), an electric insulation layer(130), a superconductive shielding layer(140), and a protection layer(150). The former(110) is positioned on a center of the core(100). The superconductive layer(120) warps the former(110). The electric insulation layer(130) warps the superconductive layer(120). The superconductive shielding layer(140) warps the electric insulation layer(130). The protection layer(150) warps the superconductive shielding layer(140). The electric insulation layer(130) has an inner semi-conductive layer and an outer semi-conductive layer.
