METHOD OF MANUFACTURING OF LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY

A method for manufacturing an LCD is provided to simplify the manufacturing process, by forming color filters through a printing process instead of three times of photolithographic processes. A color filter resin(430), which fills a print groove of a print plate, is transferred on an insulating substrate(10). A color filter is formed by hardening the color filter resin transferred on the insulating substrate. The transferring of color filter resin and hardening the transferred color filter resin are repeatedly for red, green, and blue color filters. The color filter is formed in an island shape correspondingly to each pixel region of an LCD panel.
