The disclosed herein reinforced insulating panel destined for covering concrete elements are composed of one insulating panel 1 enclosed by a metal mesh 2 electrically welded at the outer plastering surface 3 and of perpendicular and horizontal metal wires 4 holding said panel onto the internal concrete surface. The external mesh is connected to internal holding wires 4 via metal connecting pins 6 traversing in the vertical the insulating material and being electrically welded at selected places into the internal metal mesh 2 and the holding wires 4. The metal mesh 2 fitted on the plastering surface 3 enhances the mechanical resistance and adhesion of the plaster and impedes, in parallel, the detachment of this last from the insulation material 1 in the occurrence of earthquake. Furthermore, insulating plates of greater dimensions are potentially created since the metal mesh 2 enables the correct and steady assembly of the insulating panel, this last being fastened to the building mesh. The presence of the holding wires 4 at the concrete surface increases the adhesion of concrete and ensures the anchoring of the insulating panel onto the supporting construction obviating thus any detachment of this last, in case of earthquake. Finally, due to the presence of the connecting pins 6, the elements 2,4 work statically and dynamically together to dramatically increase the mechanical resistances of the insulating means. |
