APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR MAKING SESAME OIL USING STEAM AND SESAME OIL THEREBY

A method of manufacturing sesame oil by extracting roasted and ground sesame with steam is provided. The method prevents adulteration of sesame oil with foreign material and escape of original aroma of sesame, reduces agitation time and produces sesame oil retaining the original aroma hygienically. The sesame oil is prepared by the steps of: removing impurities from sesame; washing the sesame with water; roasting the washed sesame at 150 to 250deg.C; cooling the roasted sesame at 60 to 120deg.C; grinding the roasted sesame at 70 to 90deg.C; extracting the ground sesame by supplying steam of 100 to 120deg.C while agitating for 110 to 130min. During agitation, the agitator is agitated at a speed of 10 to 15rpm. To effectively change steam to water, the steam is allowed to contact cold water.
