The loop has a base plate on which a loop element (11) is arranged with a hollow part for receiving and facilitating gliding of a lace. A lace locking element (12) includes a toothed surface (18) co-operating with the lace for preventing the gliding of the lace in an unlocking direction, and for allowing the gliding of the lace in a locking direction. The locking element is mounted in rotation around an axle (17) on the base plate with a compression spring.
