<p>The invention concerns a method for fixing a lining strip (10) on a base surfaceof a lid stem (1) using at least one lining clip (20; 120; 120') having a firstterminal section (21; 121; 121') designed to be fixed to the lid bar (1) anda second terminal section (22; 122; 122') designed to be fixed to the liningstrip (10). The inventive method is characterized in that a central section (23;123; 123') arranged between the first and the second terminal sections(21, 22; 121, 122; 121', 122'), is deformed immediately before orafter the lining clip (20; 120; 120') has been fixed to the lid bar.
