The bearing (10) e.g. for a crankshaft connecting rod (30) or crankcase housing has at least one ring (11) with a track (17) for bearing balls (20). The ring is an outer ring and made in two or more sections (11a, 11b) with radial joining zones (14) and a hexagonal outer surface that fits into a matching recess (36) in the rod or housing. The radial joining surfaces of the ring have matching pin (15) and holes to ensure correct alignment on assembly.
