FIELD: railway transport; permanent way. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in replacement of long-length track skeleton delivered to place of repair in assembled state during major repairs of tracks. According to proposed method, skeleton to be placed in track is arranged on vehicle in vertical position, end of new track skeleton is turned in to horizontal position and is butt jointed with previously laid track skeleton. Then vehicle is moved from under rail skeleton arranged on vehicle and other end of track skeleton is butt joined with track skeleton which is not to be removed. Old track skeleton is turned from horizontal position into vertical position on track-laying crane and platform cars adjoining the crane and equipped with slewing gear, then new track skeleton is turned from vertical position into horizontal position in track-laying crane and platform cars adjoining the crane and equipped with slewing gear and is lowered by crane onto track base on horizontally arranged end sections pf track skeleton. ^ EFFECT: reduced delay period for repair, labor input for repair of track, train downtime required for repair of track, reduced stresses in track skeleton when changing over from vertical position into horizontal position on and back. ^ 4 dwg |
