FIELD: hydraulic structures, particularly to excavate ground along river bed. ^ SUBSTANCE: method involves redistributing suspended matter carrying water flow through intermittent slot, which is created by ground excavation in bed along bank line. The slot is formed by intermittent ground shifting so that the slots include depressions alternated with non-excavated zones left as they are. The depressions create still water zones, which accumulate, silt and recover natural suspended matter conditions. Depression and non-excavated zone length is equal to 0.3-0.35 of river bed width. ^ EFFECT: increased river bed stability due to elimination of flow structure reformation and with equal-flow design streams retention along river bed width, possibility to excavate non-metallic building material in the same place, i.e. in non-excavated zones. ^ 2 dwg |
