The suspension has a connecting device to connect a wheel carrier (1) with articulation points (E1, E2) of chassis of a motor vehicle, where the wheel carrier is rotatable around a pivot point. The device has tie rods (11, 12) mounted to the articulation points via one of their two ends and to mounting points (D1, D2) via the other ends, where the points (D1, D2) are located at different distances from the pivot point. The tie rod (12) mounted to the point (D2), which is farther from the point, is aligned on a fictitious point located closer to the point (D1) on the wheel-carrier.
