PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sling for an elevator hoist unit capable of stably lifting the elevator hoist unit by positioning hoisting parts, to which a towing body for hoisting is locked, higher than the gravity center of the elevator hoist unit. SOLUTION: This sling for the elevator hoist unit comprises a mounting beam 9 connected to the upper surface of a machine beam 5 in the elevator hoist unit 2 in which an elevator hoist 4 is connected to the machine beam 5 and the lifting parts 10 connected to the upper surface of the mounting beam 9 and to which the towing body for hoisting is locked.
