PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cover film which is excellent in heat sealability to a carrier tape, in particular, heat sealability to a polycarbonate-made carrier tape, and capable of performing the high-speed seal. SOLUTION: The cover film comprises a base material layer and a sealant layer. The sealant layer consists of, by mass,≥70% and <97% copolymer of styrene-based hydrocarbon and conjugate diene hydrocarbon, and≥3% and <30% tackified resin. Copolymer of styrene-based hydrocarbon and conjugate diene hydrocarbon in the sealant layer consists of≥65% and <90% styrene-based hydrocarbon and≥10% and <35% conjugate diene hydrocarbon.
