The covering has a profile (4) for bridging a gap between a rotary door (1) and a stationary structural unit (2) e.g. door frame or wall, where the profile is supported at the unit in a torsionally flexible manner. The profile lies against the door in a sliding or rolling manner under the effect of the resilient elastic pressure. Multiple rollers (5) effect the supporting of the covering at the door, where running surfaces (7) for the rollers are arranged on a door leaf surface (6) of the door. The covering is composed of aluminum profile.
