Composition and method for topical therapy of abdominal irritation and pain-pathology comprises using a topical plaster system comprising sodium-canal blocker of the class of local anesthetics of ester- or amide- type, as active agent by applying directly over the appropriate skin surface of the abdominal region and simultaneously releasing the active agent into the skin.
