The device has a bearing attached to a hinge lower part (3) of a bonnet hinge and accommodated downwards opposite to a body of a front end in a single-piece and in a flexible manner. The bearing constantly holds a front bonnet in a height-limited manner under permanent pre-stressing using a stop pin (7) and an upper hinge stop unit (8). The front bonnet is automatically movable with the bonnet hinge under the absorption of the collision energy towards an area below the front bonnet, when a person experiences collision.
