A device for removing dross in a zinc pot is provided to reduce the working hour, maximize the working efficiency, and further improve quality of strip for automobile by promptly and simply removing dross generated on the surface of molten metal within the zinc pot in a strip galvanizing line. A device(1) for removing dross in a zinc pot comprises: a liftable and lowerable unit(10) disposed at a predetermined height at one side of the zinc pot and operated by a liftable and lowerable chain(12) connected with the liftable and lowerable unit; a body unit(30) which is connected to the chain of the liftable and lowerable unit, has a dross receiving plate(32) and a handle(34) respectively installed at one side and the other side thereof, and is elongated; and an operating unit(50) installed in the vicinity of the handle of the body unit to drive the liftable and lowerable unit. The chain has a body unit connecting hook(12) formed on a lower portion thereof such that the connecting hook is hooked to a latch(44a) of a connecting bracket(44) on a body unit connecting block. The body unit comprises a first connecting rod(36), a connecting block(38), and a second connecting rod that is connected to the front of the connecting block through couplings(40).
