<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase a feeling of immersion by representing the positional relation between a first-person point of view (for example, the position of a virtual camera in video contents) and a sound source by voice. <P>SOLUTION: The arrangement relation between a sound source present in a virtual space and a virtual camera etc., is calculated to vary audio outputs to be supplied to audio output means such as speakers in real time according to the calculation result. A content reproducing device equipped with first and second audio output means is provided with a reference coordinate storage means of storing values relating to reference coordinates in the virtual space, a reference direction storage means of storing values relating to a reference direction in the virtual space, a sound source coordinate storage means of storing values relating to coordinates of the sound source in the virtual space, and an audio output adjusting means of calculating values relating to relative directivity of the sound source on the basis of the values relating to the reference coordinates, the values relating to the reference direction and the values relating to the coordinates of the sound source, and adjusting the audio outputs supplied to the first and second audio output means according to the values relating to the relative directivity. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
