<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell which employs a material having the same constituent for an electrolyte membrane and a catalyst carrier to increase the strength of a joint, to prevent peel-off at the joint, and to reduce a resistance between an electrolyte and an electrode. <P>SOLUTION: This fuel cell comprises a conductive and an insulating electrolyte 10, an anode catalyst electrode 12a which contains the main constituent identical to that of the electrolyte and has properties such as conductivity and catalytic activity and a cathode catalyst electrode 12b. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
