PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve weldability between an electrode terminal and a component contacting with an upper face of the electrode terminal. SOLUTION: The secondary battery is provided with an electrode assembly 12, a can 11 for storing the electrode assembly 12, a cap assembly 100 joined to an opened upper part of the can, and the electrode terminal 130 electrically connected with an electrode of the electrode assembly 12.
