PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To change mutual specifications, for example, an injection pump specification and a common rail specification, by properly using a pair of gears. SOLUTION: This engine interlocks pumps 39 and 139 for forcibly feeding fuel by motive power of a crankshaft 1. The pair of gears 32a and 32b are installed on one gear installing shaft 32. At least one 32a of the pair of gears 32a and 32b is installed on the one gear installing shaft 32. The motive power of the crankshaft 1 is transmitted to the pumps 39 and 139 via gear trains 14 and 114 with at least one 32a of the pair of gears 32a and 32b as a component.
