PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a management method for storing accurate business card information by correcting misrecognition or non-recognition of OCR processing to provide the information to a customer. SOLUTION: A method for managing business card information, for reading business card information written on a business card (2) by a reading device (4) capable of reading the information as digital image data, and managing the read information as digital data, adds a customer ID of a customer to the image data of the information read by the reading device (4) to transmit it to a server (6). The server (6) converts the image data of the information into text data by applying the OCR processing to the image data and stores the text data and the image data into a database (8) for each customer ID. A proofreader compares the stored text data to the image data by accessing the database (8) and corrects a defect point in conversion into the text data through the OCR processing by viewing the comparison result to update and register the text data.
