PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat developable photosensitive material excellent in raw stock preservability, excellent further in stability of a silver image after heat development, having high maximum density even by short-time heat development, and capable of satisfying both of a good silver tone and very low fog. SOLUTION: The heat developable photosensitive material contains a photosensitive silver halide on one side of a support, wherein the heat developable photosensitive material contains one of the compounds represented by formula (2).
