PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correctly superimpose data by MEG (Magnetoencephalography) on MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) images.
SOLUTION: A first imaging part images the inside of a human body in the state that first markers are attached and acquires MRI images for which the first markers are projected. A second imaging part images the outside of the human body in the state that the first markers are attached and acquires an appearance image indicating the attaching positions of the first markers. An irradiation part refers to the appearance image and irradiates positions on the human body where the first markers were attached. In the state of attaching second markers matched with irradiated positions on the human body where the first markers were attached, a magnetic field measurement part measures the strength of a magnetic field generated accompanying the nervous activity of the brain by SQUID (Superconducting Quantum Interference Device).
COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
