<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic device having a structure in which the lower end of a display part never contacts the upper surface of a main body during reversing of the display part relative to the main body. <P>SOLUTION: The electronic device 1 comprises the main body 2, the display part 3, and a hinge mechanism 4. The main body 2 has a keyboard 5 on the upper surface 2a. The display part 3 contains a liquid crystal display (display device) 6. The hinge mechanism 4 connects the display part 3 to the main body 2, and has a rotating shaft 41 and a pivot 42. The rotating shaft 41 allows the display part 3 to rotate between a closed state covering the keyboard 5 and an open state P2 where it is raised up to the main body 2. The pivot 42 is provided with an inclination to the upper surface 2a of the main body 2, and allows the display part 3 to turn when the display part 3 is in the rotatable state. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
