The device has two locating pins (6) that are provided at a rear side of a lamp (1), where the rear side faces a body of a vehicle. The pins are arranged in an edge region of the lamp in such a manner that the pins are provided at a greater distance (A) to each other. The pins comprise a cylindrical cross section, where each pin has projections that are distributed over its periphery. A set of fixing screws (4) is provided at a lower part (2) of the lamp.
