Rotary roller print machine has at least one printing mechanisms (03,04) which run through a number of print material paths (06) and at least one processing station (08) on the output-side of the printing mechanisms, and to which the print material paths are supplied. Between the print mechanisms and the processing station is at least one transport path (13) for the respective print material path. In the transport path the print material paths is arranged a transport path-length compensation (14) which adjusts the length of the print material transport path to another transport path length. An independent claim is included for a method for controlling the length of a transport path of print material path.
