<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a curtain airbag device capable of reducing works for mounting a bracket on mounting pieces of a curtain airbag and reducing works for mounting the mounting pieces on mounting parts of a vehicle body. <P>SOLUTION: In this curtain airbag device, the plurality of mounting pieces 23 provided at an upper end of the curtain airbag 20 within a coating material 22 and projected from the coating material 22 are fixed to the mounting parts 28 at a plurality of portions provided on an indoor side of the vehicle body with bolts 47 via the bracket 40. The bracket 40 is formed into a U-shape in cross section to hold the mounting pieces 23 between the vehicle body side of the bracket 40 and bracket pieces 41 and 42 on a cabin side. The vehicle body side bracket piece 41 is provided as a hook member 43a of a hook-and-loop fastener as a temporarily fastening member. The hook member 43a is adhered by engagement to loop members 43b provided in the mounting parts 28 to temporarily fasten the bracket 40 to the mounting parts 28 and prevent rotation of the bracket 40. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
