<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact camera module in which a lens and an imaging element can easily be positioned without requiring a mechanism for the adjustment. <P>SOLUTION: The camera module has the lens 3 put in a cylindrical holder 2 and the imaging element 4 disposed at a predetermined distance from the lens 3; and the imaging element 4 is arranged on a substrate 1 and the holder 2 has a projection body 13, formed projecting toward the imaging element 4, and an outer peripheral edge part 14, provided peripherally outside the projection body 13 and extending to below the projection body 13, in one body. A reverse surface of the projection body 13 is fixed to a top surface 4a of the imaging element 4 with an adhesive and a reverse surface of the outer peripheral edge part 14 is fixed to a top surface 1a of the substrate 1 with an adhesive. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
