PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of optical waveguide with mirror capable of preparing an optical waveguide with mirror of bending light propagated by a core in the perpendicular direction of a substrate easily in a short time, and to provide the optical waveguide with mirror prepared by the manufacturing method. SOLUTION: The manufacturing method of optical waveguide with mirror comprises the formation of the core 13 on a substrate 11 and the formation of an inclined reflection surface 15 performed simultaneously with the preparation of the core 13, wherein a photoinitiator which is added so that light transmittance of a negative type ultraviolet ray curable resin as a core material 21 becomes at least 95% is prepared, the core material 21 is applied on the substrate 11, thereafter, a mask 22 on which a core pattern is formed above the core material 21 is disposed, ultraviolet rays are applied to the core material 21 via the mask 22, an unirradiated part is removed, and the reflection surface 15 is formed on the core 13 and the core end surface.
