PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin composition that is excellently balanced between impact strength and flowability, has a wide allowance for injection conditions for attaining high external appearances of a molded piece, exhibits excellent fogging resistance, has high weld strength and exhibits sharp improvement in cracks when a pin is pressed therein. SOLUTION: The resin composition comprises 10-90 pts.mass of a mixture of at least two kinds aromatic polyamides having different intrinsic viscosity [η] and 90-10 pts.mass of a polyphenylene ether (each based on 100 pts.mass of the total of the aromatic polyamides and the polyphenylene ether). The resin composition affords a very useful composition for an automotive exterior panel (for example, a car fender), an SMT-compatible part, a lamp-related part, or the like.
