PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cosmetic not only protecting the skin from water and sweat and preventing the makeup from being damaged by the water and the sweat, but also having excellent physical strength and adhesion to the skin, preventing color migration of the cosmetic to clothes or the like, and having good compatibility. SOLUTION: The cosmetic contains a fluorine-modified silicone represented by general formula (1) (wherein, Rf is a 1-20C perfluoroalkyl group; R<SP>1</SP>, R<SP>2</SP>, R<SP>4</SP>, R<SP>5</SP>, R<SP>6</SP>and R<SP>7</SP>are each a 1-4C alkyl group or a phenyl group; R<SP>3</SP>is a >20C and≤50C monovalent hydrocarbon group; and R<SP>8</SP>is a 1-4C monovalent hydrocarbon group).
