A method for selecting called junction network, applied in a network including CS and IMS. The method receives an IMS service request directed to a user served; judges whether it is suitable to join the service request to the CS based on the service type of the IMS service request, if it is, selects relevant factors to perform a called junction selection policy judgement based on the called junction network, and selects a policy to perform the following junction process based on the current called junction network, if not, then does not perform the called junction network selection policy judgement, or makes a policy to join the IMS service request in the IMS field.
