<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing activated carbon with which smooth operation of a production unit, improvement in safety of an operator and prevention of environmental pollution are achieved in the production of activated carbon. <P>SOLUTION: This production method employs two or more activation units and conducts operation processes as follows: charging a carbon material into a first activation unit and starting operation of the first activation unit; then charging a carbon material into a second activation unit and starting operation of the second activation unit; further starting a third to an Nth activation units, respectively, by serially setting back the timing of charging the carbon material; thereafter drying up the inside of the first activation unit which is finished its operation, and charging the carbon material and starting again operation of the first activation unit. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
