PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric connector for sure and easy electrical connection with a fluorescent lamp. SOLUTION: An electric connector 6 is equipped with a contact 15 containing a pair of elastic pieces 30 and 31. The pair of elastic pieces 30 and 31 can guide in an outer lead 10, as a terminal at the end of the fluorescent lamp between them in the loading direction corresponding to the radial direction of the fluorescent lamp. They include a pair of linear parts 40 facing each other across the outer lead 10 that has been guided in.
