PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for installing an AV device capable of simply installing the AV device including a large-sized flat panel display device with heavy weight at a low facility cost in a state of providing the ease of use in a way that the flat panel display device is installed closer to a wall so as to place a limit on a floor space to be a necessity minimum space required for the installation of the AV device, and easily adapted to the new installation, extension or replacement or the like of the AV device. SOLUTION: The apparatus for installing the AV device includes: a pair of pole bodies 10 longitudinally fixed to the wall 50; and a support member 20 stretched between the pole bodies 10 for movably and vertically supporting the flat panel display apparatus Ba of the AV device B, and each pole body 10 has a longitudinal run-through space 15 in which cords and cables or the like are guided, and also includes a run through hole 15 for communicatively connecting the run-through space 14 externally.
