PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a tripentaerythritol poly(meth)acrylate having reduced color and capable of decreasing the adhesion of polymer by-product to the inner wall of the reactor compared with conventional method. SOLUTION: A tripentaerythritol poly(meth)acrylate is produced by reacting tripentaerythritol with (meth)acrylic acid in a solvent in the presence of a polymerization inhibitor, wherein the reaction solvent is an aliphatic hydrocarbon solvent and/or an alicyclic hydrocarbon solvent. As an alternative, a tripentaerythritol poly(meth)acrylate is produced by reacting tripentaerythritol with (meth)acrylic acid in a solvent in the presence of a polymerization inhibitor, wherein the polymerization inhibitor is a copper compound and the reaction is carried out in the presence of activated carbon.
