PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dishwasher capable of preventing decline in the drying efficiency, which may be lowered when the humidity of outside air is increased when the dishes are dried, regardless of the humidity of the outside air. SOLUTION: The dishwasher comprises a dishwasher body with a washing chamber disposed inside, a dish basket on which the dishes are mounted, a washing nozzle for spraying washing water into the washing chamber, a washing pump for feeding washing water to the washing nozzle, a blower fan 30 for blowing air to the washing chamber when the dishes are dried, and an air heater 31 disposed inside the washing chamber for drying/heating. When the humidity outside the dishwasher is higher than a reference humidity, the calorific value of the air heater 31 is increased, and when the humidity is lower than the reference humidity, the calorific value of the air heater 31 is decreased.
